On the occasion of his short stay in Athens, Master Derek Frearson, personal student of the great masters Ou Rongju, Lun Gai and Lee Kam Wing and president of the International Taijiquan and Shaolin Wushu Association, was on Saturday October 8 at the club of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization , where he received a warm welcome from the Director of EPOS Stavridis Iordanis and talked with him about the developments of traditional Kung Fu in our country.
Afterwards, Sifu Allan Dickson, Sifu Paul Tennet, presented to the attending EPOS teachers and some selected students of Wing Chun Foshan Academy, 2-person fighting techniques - Tui Lien (Chinese: duìlián 对联) between Lances (Chinese: qiāng 枪 ) and Kontariou (Chinese: gùn 棍). An excellent presentation that ended in a long workshop, leaving unforgettable experiences for everyone..
Master Derek Frearson, has done several seminars in the past with the participation of students and teachers of EPOS, both in Wing Chun (Chinese: Yǒng chūn quán 詠春拳), techniques in wooden dummy, long pole etc., as well as Seven Star Praying Mantis (Chinese: Qīxīng tángláng quán 七星螜螂拳) , forms, martial application etc, seeing that there are still people who love Traditional Kung Fu and are really interested in this Chinese tradition.
Master Derek Frearson with his close disciples (closed door disciples) Sifu Allan Dickson, Sifu Paul Tennet, visited Greece at the invitation of Sifu Pantelia Antonis, a close partner of EPOS.
