The 3rd Martial Arts Culture Festival of the Greek Shaolin Federation in Nafplio, was successfully completed on Sunday, February 21, 2016, in the packed Municipal Sports center of Nafplio, where all the spectators had the opportunity to enjoy and get acquainted with the Shaolin Culture and other Traditional Martial Arts.

More than 200 participants from 15 leading schools in Greece, participated in the festival that was organized by Sifu Dimitris Papavasileiou of Shaolin Kung Fu N. Greece Athletic Club, with the cooperation and assistance of the Municipality of Nafplio,EPOS and POKESA .

The Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization [EPOS] and all the Associations that are Members of the Greek Shaolin Federation, participated with 100 male and female students, who presented unarmed and armed skill forms from the Shaolin tradition. Great impression was caused by the group of Pyrgos Shaolin Cultural Center , Amaliada Shaolin Cultural Center and EPOS seniors, who presented forms and weapons of Shaolin Rou Quan.

Head of the mission were the head of EPOS, Sifu Shi Yan Zhuo [Stavridis Jordan] and Sifu Shi Yan Kong [Katakalaios Dimitris]. The masters who accompanied the mission, were Kostis Nikolaos, Kokkalas Lambros, Kapatsoulias Panagiotis, Altanis Theodoros, Spyropoulos Christos, Kostopoulos Ioannis, Banner Andrew, Delis George, Vasilopoulos Ioannis, Stavrakos Marios, Kalogeropoulos Yiannis, Giannakopoulos Kostas, Antoniou Efstathia, Tsamoutalidi Stamatina, Kosti Olga, Saliari Agni, Smyrniou Christina, Stavridou Alexandra, Antari Constantina and Giannakopoulou Anna.

At the beginning of the Festival, Sifu Papavasileiou thanked Master Stavridis Jordan for the realization of this Festival and for the assistance that he has provided in the development and spread of Shaolin Kung Fu in the last 30 years by honoring him with a commemorative souvenir.

Upon completion of the Festival, Master Shi Yan Zhuo [Stavridis Jordan] said:

In Nafplio, the Shaolin Culture Festival became an institution of Spirit and sportsmanship in the Martial Arts, due to the support of Nafplio municipality, my good friend Sifu Papavasileiou, friend masters and exceptional participants without whom, it could not take place. I wish next year to be together again, healthy and with more experience.
