After the success of the Experiential Workshop "Fundamentals of Traditional Chinese Medicine", which was held on March 9, 2014 at the Centre for Healing Arts "Endless Flow" by the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, Master Shi Yan Zhuo and Dr. of Natural Medicine, Theodore Altanis, Polytechno [Conservatory and Dance School] in Amaliada, hosted on Sunday, March 22, 2015 the students of the cultural centers of Ilia, the students of the dance school and the conservatory, and people from Pyrgos and Amaliada that were keen to learn about the ancient and universal principles that govern our lives and determine our physical and mental health.
The event, which took place under the auspices of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization [EPOS] and presented the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the implementation that they have, not only in medicine but also in therapeutic forms of exercise, such as Tai Ji Quan and Chi Gong, as well as in everyday life, was prefaced by the dance and BMC teacher Constantza Brindesi, who presented the Heads of Shaolin Culture Centers, Masters Altani Theodore and Kapatsoulia Panagioti and thanked them for this initiative.
In the included subjects were the History of TCM, Acupuncture Meridians and Points, Yin and Yang Energies, the Five Elements Theory, Chi Energy and Vital substances, which were an introduction to understanding the principles of ancient wisdom and the way they approach life, which is still happening in China, even today.
Upon completion of the workshop, Dr. Altanis, said: "I would like to thank my Master Stavridis Jordan [Shi Yan Zhuo], for his valuable knowledge transfer, but also for the opportunity he gave us to present a very special and interesting topic in Ilia, giving the chance to those unable to attend it last time in Athens, to watch it. I would also like to thank Teacher Constantza Brindesi who gave us her space and made possible the current seminar. "
