On July 23, 2016, very early in the morning, the EPOS group headed to the Metropolitan Park [chin.: wángchéng gōngyuán 王城公园] of Luoyang, taking advantage of the good day and the holiday in order to train in Shaolin Rou Quan. The Metropolitan Park of Luoyang was built in 1955 and is the first labor park of the old labor China. In about 500 acres, one can see museums, botanical gardens with Peonies, ponds, waterfalls, zoo, etc., while River Jianhe [chin .: jiàn hé 涧河] passes through the park. It is a very favorable environment and so every tour that is organized by EPOS in China, includes a full day visit and practice in this historic park.
The team led by Shi Yan Kong and Shi Yan Zhuo, practised the simplified Small 24 postures Form of Tai Ji Quan, that was created in 1956 by the Athletic Commission of China for training of the population, continued with the Yi Lu and Er Lu Shaolin Rou Quan, and completed the program with Qigong skills of the Eight Gates [chin.: bā mén 八门], an ancient method of "Nei Gong '[chin.: nèigōng 內功], which is preserved today in the Orthodox Rou Quan School [ chin.: Shàolín chuántǒng zhèngzōng róuquán 少林传统正宗柔拳].
