The Educational Workshop on Shaolin old school Chain Fist [Chin.: shǎolín lǎo liánhuán gōngfǎ 少林 老连环 功法], that was organised by the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, was successfully completed in the morning of February 3, 2018, and was exclusively devoted to EPOS masters and advanced students.

The workshop was presented by the two Masters of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization [EPOS], Stavridis Iordanis and Katakalaios Dimitris, in the framework of the new action "Getting familiar with the traditional Shaolin martial arts".

About the Chain Fist of Shaolin old school

Shaolin Lianhuan Gong Fa was created by the famous master Shi Zhan Ju [释湛举 | ~ 1865], 26th generation of Shaolin masters, who was a student of the two eminent monks Si Ru Qing [释如净] and Si Ru Liang [释如亮]. Although it is a small form characterized by simple but very powerful moves, it has a variety of advanced techniques that teach the practitioner how to "transfer" the speed and momentum of each stroke to the next technique, thus linking the combinations to an unstoppable defensive defense and attack. According to Shaolin tradition, its creation was based on the style of "Lohan Fist" [Chin .: luóhànquán罗汉拳], "The punch between the hands" [Chin: tōngbìquán 通臂拳­] and "The Plum Blossom Fist "[Chin: méihuāquán 梅花拳]. which the Charismatic Monk, combined with his own combat experience.
