Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization

As every year, the regular annual meeting of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization was held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 in Artemida. The proceedings of the meeting began with a brief reference to the work of EPOS and its administration for the academic year 2018-2019, by the General Director of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, Mr. Stavridis Iordanis, to all the masters that were present, who had the opportunity in turn, to talk about the beginning of this year, which seems to be starting once again, very vigorously.

The agenda of the meeting included the following topics:

- Goals and highlights of the 2019 - 2020 school year
- Redefining the program of the Associations
- Student code and parenting responsibilities
- Improving learning outcomes
- Utilizing modern teaching approaches in teaching
- Procedural, operational and tax issues
- Implementation of the statutory regulations to further facilitate the work of EPOS teaching staff
- Annual planning for participating in festivals, shows & events of cultural interest
- Discussion and exchange of views on good teaching.

The meeting ended with the wishes of EPOS founder and director, Mr. Stavridis, who said:

Teachers carry out a high social responsibility task. Their work includes teaching and educating students. The design, organization and delivery of quality education based on modern educational concepts is the assurance of the quality of teaching of the EPOS Members and their Certified Trainers. I wish this year to provide meaningful learning opportunities to the children of our Schools, our Clubs, for all-round development in all areas (cognitive, emotional, psychomotor) and to drive them to progress and development, providing them with an additional reserve for their future.
