The Chinese New Year is known as the Spring Festival and it is no coincidence that it is the most important of the traditional Chinese holidays. It is the moment when Winter gives way to Spring and the rebirth and awakening of nature begins. On the occasion of this year's celebration, as the head of the Hellenic Shaolin Cultural Organization, I address this short festive greeting to all the Students, Teachers, Teachers and friends of Shaolin in Greece.
2013 was a very constructive year for The Hellenic Shaolin Cultural Organization, with the implemented Act "Introduction to Shaolin Arts and Culture", a series of educational days, which ended with absolute success, the participation of our students in 4th Cup of Southern Greece "Olympio", in the 2nd International & 8th Panhellenic Martial Arts Championship, in the 18th intercollegiate martial arts championship in Nafplio, in the 2nd Intercollegiate Cup of Martial Arts LEON and in the 2nd International & 6th ° Panhellenic Cup "Mygdonia".
By organizing such cultural activities and events, the Greek public can learn more about Shaolin Culture and therefore Chinese Culture.
I hope that the rebirth of Nature will extend to our lives, marking a new beginning much more optimistic and much happier.
