On February 18, 2015, the eve of Chinese New Year, the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, the official representative of the Shaolin Temple of Songshan in Greece, held its official ceremony for the Spring Festival. The Chinese New Year or Spring Festival, is a big celebration in traditional Chinese culture and tradition.

On the occasion of this special day, prominent members of EPOS visited the Shaolin Cultural Center Red Phoenix in Lykovrysi, which was commissioned this year the organization of the event and the celebration of Chinese New Year. Despite the bitter cold, more than 150 people, members, students, friends and relatives, from all official Greek Shaolin Cultural Institutions, were present and together exchanged greetings, dined, drank tea, and had fun, full of joy in a festive, celebratory atmosphere.

Then, the General Director of EPOS, Master Shi Yan Zhuo, with his close associates, spoke to all attendees about the meaning of the Chinese New Year, the institution of the family, the launching of a new start in any kind of effort. He made a brief review of the history of EPOS and its course in the past year.

He thanked Master Shi Heng Ya from Red Phoenix for the hospitality and the successful organization and finally, wished health, happiness and joy, hoping the new year of the sheep, to give a chance to everyone to realize their goals and visions.

The ceremony was also attended by the Director of the Athens Shaolin Cultural Centre Master Shi Yan Kong, Master Shi Heng Ji, from the Shaolin center of Paiania, Master Shi Heng Feng, from the Snake Crane, Master Heng Ling from Aristomachos, Master Si Miao Yin, director of the Shaolin Center in Amaliada, Master Shi Heng Qian from White Lotus, Master Shi Miao Lian, Master Shi Miao Shu and Master Si Heng Yao.
