Under the supervision of the Grand Master Shi Yan Zhuo the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization's team made a truly stunning appearance in the 6th Cup of South Greece "Olympio", that was organized by coach Mr. D. Kapellos, under the auspices of the Municipality of Xylokastro - Evrostini and the Greek Martial Arts Federation, on Sunday 08/03/2015. At the festival participated a total of 36 clubs from all over Greece, with more than 500 athletes, who competed in self-defense techniques, shadowboxing, forms, weapons, and games into categories Semi, Lite and Full Kontact, MMA fights, Muai Thai and Kick Boxing fights.

The event was honored by the presence of the Mayor of Xylokastro, Mr. Andrikopoulos Elias, who congratulated the whole initiative of the event, the coaches, sportsmen and sportswomen and the Arbitration Body of the Federation,and then addressed a brief greeting to all attendees and opened the Festival.

The opening of this year's festival, that was open to all martial arts, was made by affiliated masters, who presented their personal style, while final-year students of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, Stavridou Alexandra, Giannakopoulou Anna and Antari Constantina [4th Duan Wei Middle Level], presented the group unarmed skill, The 18 techniques of Lohan - Lohan Shiba Shou , the skill ‘Stick of the Hidden Hand "- Yin Shou Gun, the broadsword skill "plum blossom" - Mei Hua Dao and the skill with fan "Flight of the Butterfly" - Shan Hu Die while the students Gagosi Feroniki, Giochala Dimitra and Bograkou Danae presented the group unarmed skill "Chain Fist" - Lian Huan Quan.

Then the demostration group Phoenix of Pyrgos Shaolin Cultural Center, presented the internal Shaolin style "Method of the Soft Fist" while Galanopoulou Rachel, Alexiou Spiros and Sifu Andrew Banner, completed the launch of the festival with the presentation of unarmed and armed skills of Shaolin Rou Quan, thrilling the audience.

“We had the opportunity to introduce the Shaolin Tradition to more than 2.000 people today and also speak about Shaolin History, Martial Arts and Medicine. The main objective of this festival for us was a cultural exchange activity among young people and their families”, the General Director of Greek Shaolin Temple Cultural Center [EPOS] Grand Master Shi Yan Zhuo said.
