The 6th Greek Shaolin Culture Festival and the 3rd EPOS Friends Festival was successfully completed on Sunday, February 10, 2019, at the Vasilios Kontoleon Municipal Stadium in Nafplio, where all the spectators had the opportunity to enjoy and get to know the Shaolin Tradition and Culture, as well as other Traditional Martial arts.

More than 450 participants from 20 martial arts schools in Greece participated in the Festival, which was organized by Sifou Dimitris Papavassiliou of the Hellenic Martial Arts Center of Northern Greece, with the cooperation and support of the Municipality of Nafplio, the Municipal Organization of Sports and Culture , Tourism and Environment (DOPPAT), under the Auspices of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization.

Prior to the opening of the Festival, Sifou Papavassiliou honored all the Masters who supported the event with their presence, with a souvenir cup. Then EPOS called the black belt owners, Konstantinos Giannakopoulos, Antari Konstantina, Takaki Danae, Bograkou Danae, Yohola Dimitra of Aristomachos, Kostopoulou Mariana, Altanis Filitsa and Malevitis Dimitris of Phoenix and Kokkosis Alexandros of the Golden Tiger and gave them praise for their continued presence and progress.

Before the beginning of the festival, the Deputy Governor of Peloponnese Mr. Stephanopoulos Theophanis thanked the President of EPOS, Master Stavridis Jordanis for the spreading of Shaolin Kung Fu and Culture in Greece and encouraged participants to make even more progress. He also said that if Shaolin culture could spread more widely in the future, Shaolin spirit would create a more peaceful, harmonious society for all.

Then the Director of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, Master Stavridis Iordanis expressed his sincere gratitude to the participants, the support of volunteers and his associates and said:

"I am very grateful to the Municipality of Nafplion, my good friend, Master Papavassiliou Dimitris, the Masters, the parents and the excellent participants who help every year in the implementation of the Greek Shaolin Culture Festival, which promotes the Spirit, Culture and the Shaolin Tradition. I hope next year to meet again and offer another unique experience to everyone."

Sifou Papavassiliou team marked the opening of this year's festival with a of Hung Gar group form, which was applauded by all attendees, viewers and participants.

Then followed a unique Shaolin Kung Fu presentation by the EPOS presentation team, which fascinated spectators with group and individual skills of unarmed and armed forms.
