The Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization made an extraordinary appearance at the 6th Nemea Martial Arts Festival "Machimos Leon", organized by the Cultural Association of Machimos Leon and the Municipality of Nemea, under the auspices of the Greek Martial Arts Federation. On Sunday, December 3, the crowded indoor stadium of Nemea welcomed more than 400 athletes from 40 clubs to a real celebration for the martial arts and sports ideals.

The opening of the festival was made by Mr. Stavridis, who addressed a greeting on behalf of EOPT, and later awarded Black Belts, to advanced athletes of the AS. Karate of Xylokastro. At the end, together with Sensei Capellos Dimitrios, they honored the masters of the participating clubs for their presentation.

The event continued with a arm wrestling competition, a group presentation of Traditional Japanese Martial Arts and Shaolin Soft Fist presentation by Pyrgos Shaolin Cultural Center.

The festival was completed with a highly impressive appearance of EPOS students, both individually and collectively, who presented techniques and forms with bare hands and arms from the huge treasure of Shaolin Culture. Particularly impressive was the number of young students who, with great dedication, performed their skills by rigging the audience.
