The 5th Nemea Martial Arts Festival "LEON" was successfully completed on Sunday, November 13, 2016, at the indoor stadium of Nemea, under the auspices of the Municipality of Nemea and the Greek Martial Arts Federation, by the Cultural Association of Combatant Leon. At this Martial Arts feast, were present more than 300 athletes from 40 clubs.

From this festival, which is conducted for the 4th year in a row, could not be absent the EPOS shine, which together with the two other festival, at Xylokastro and at Nafplion, are the three top cultural events of their kind in the territory of Peloponnese.

The delegation of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, led by its Director and founder, Master Shi Yan Zhuo [chin .: shì yán zhuō 释延卓] - Jordan Stavridis and Master Shi Yan Kong [chin .: shì yán kōng 释延空], General Director of the Athens Shaolin Cultural Center, was very much present, promoting the Shaolin culture once again and offered all attendees a very beautiful and unique spectacle.

The opening of the Festival began with a demonstration of Shaolin Soft Fist - Rou Quan [chin: róuquán 柔拳­] from the Amaliada Shaolin Cultural Center team, continued with the presentation of Six Harmonic Exercises - Liu He Gong [chin .: Shàolín liùhé gōng 少林六合功] from the Pyrgos Shaolin Cultural Center team and ended with O.A.S.K.F. Aristomachos who presented a group, unarmed Shaolin skill.

Then the participating associations presented a varied spectacle, with numerous unarmed and armed skills, men and women self defense techniques, riveting the audience that filled the stadium early in the morning, with their unique abilities.

EPOS masters who participated in the festival were, Spyropoulos Christos, Kokkalas Lambros, Antoniou Efstathia, Kapatsoulias Panagiotis, Tsamoutalidi Stamatina, Altanis Theodore, Banner Andrew, Stavridou Alexandra, Kalogeropoulos Giannis, Alexiou Spiros, Stavrakos Marios and Delis George, with their respective teams, who helped in the smooth functioning and the completion of the procedural of the festival.

As has been known for several years, EPOS does not cease to spread vigorously with its presence, the True Spirit of Shaolin Culture, wherever and whenever it is given the chance and supports every effort of our friends and colleagues who wish a healthy approach and promotion of martial arts.
