On February 16, 2018, the Spring Festival, the traditional Chinese New Year, was celebrated with great success, organized by the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, the official Shaolin organization in Greece, and was held for the first time simultaneously in Athens at the Shaolin Cultural Center "White Horse "at Patissia and Thessaloniki at the Shaolin Cultural Center" True Path", with the presence of masters, students, members and friends with their families.

At 5 in the afternoon, on Friday, the "White Horse" began to welcome friends of Shaolin Culture. The event began with a brief greeting to all attendees by EPOS General Director, Mr. Stavridis Iordanis, who, after speaking about the Spring Festival, thanked Master Delis George for the hosting of this year's event, EPOS Masters and the attendants, and wished the Spring Festival to bring Spring to everyone.

The host of this year's celebration in Athens, Mr. Delis, welcomed everyone who came and wished on his turn, the new year to bring the best.

All friends of Chinese and Shaolin Culture celebrated in a warm and friendly atmosphere, the coming of the Dog's New Year, enjoying the rich buffet of salty and sweet dishes and exchanging greetings, with more important, as always, health, so that eventually a successful event can also take place next year.

Regarding the celebration in Thessaloniki, the head of the Association Master Vassilopoulos Ioannis passed the message of the founder of EPOS, Mr. Stavridis, for the festival to all the attendees, and given the opportunity he referred to the Chinese Chronicle (a book that had been edited by the founder of EPOS 20 Years Ago] by reciting the features of the new year.

Then the diplomas of the Hellenic Wushu Kungfu Federation were awarded to all male and female students who participated in last year's evaluation, thus certifying and further enhancing their level and knowledge. In the already cheerful environment, another surprise was added to the award of honorary praises to those students who have so far demonstrated virtues that need to be developed to begin to perceive the essence of Shaolin, virtues such as faith, trust, courage , patience, generosity, perseverance, will, and so on.

At the end there was a show by students from the association of all ages and levels, who presented Shaolin Kungfu and Shaolin Rou Quan armed and unarmed skills, giving a rich note to the new year's pentagram.
