On Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 10 am, took place the first Joint Meeting of EPOS Teaching Staff at the Club of O.A.S.K.F. Aristomachos, with the presence of all the Hellenic Shaolin Cultural Center Qualified Masters. The meeting began with a brief introduction and information about the work of EPOS and its administration during the academic year 2014- 2015, by the General Director of the Hellenic Shaolin Cultural Center, Master Stavridis Jordan.
The main topic on the agenda of the meeting was to formulate the themes and program of the Teaching course of the EPOS Qualified Associations that starts on September 14, 2015. Issues related to Education and Training in the field were analyzed and discussed, in order to fully achieve the objectives set by the nature of Teaching.
Then took place a presentation of the structure of the Teaching Work and a detailed presentation of the technical part that runs the project for the further development of EPOS actions. There was a discussion about the existing legal framework and legal structure regarding the Associative Law and more specific and combined to individual EPOS actions. Particular emphasis was placed on the need to create a Common Strategy according to the standards of other countries - members of Shaolin Europe Association .The latter led to the discussion regarding the actions implemented by the European Shaolin Centers for the promotion and teaching of Shaolin culture.
Then, took place a panel discussion with landmark the biggest challenges for the Proper Teaching of Shaolin Arts, both in Greece and in Europe and what actions have to be implemented in order to address these challenges.
The meeting concluded with the opinions and final observations of the Masters involved.
