On Sunday, February 7, 2016 in the evening, took place the first meeting between the Greek Members of the Martial Arts and Culture Research Center of Changchun [Chin .: Chángchūn jīng kāi fútú hànxué yánjiū 长春经开 国学 武 道 研究 会] and the EPOS Masters, at the Shaolin Cultural Center Celestial Dragon, in Nea Smyrni. Keynote speakers were, Mr. George Tsimpinoudakis representative of the Research Center for Martial Arts and Culture of Changchun and Shi Yan Zhuo Dashi, general director of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization.
The meeting began with an introduction and information on the work of the Chinese Center and its Director and founder, Laoshi Wu Wen Jun [Chin .: Wǔwén Jūn 武文军] by the General Director of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, Shi Yan Zhuo Dashi, who said : Let me inform you, since I am here, that the last days we had interesting developments. We set up a new cooperation with the Martial Arts Research and Culture Center of Changchun, which is my personal choice, made after very careful consideration and careful control. Laoshi Wu Wen Jun, now officially holds the 6th Duan by the Chinese Wushu Association, is a National Coach, official member of the China Wushu Association and maintains the title of the National 1st grade referee. He is a man with great affection for the Chinese martial arts, visionary and with integrity which are consistent with myself and with the values and principles of EPOS. As masters we must continually strive to evolve and offer generously knowledge to all our male and female students. Considering the proper education, we made, as management, this great deal, that has only good things to offer and will contribute positively to the further development of EPOS actions.
Immediately after, Laoshi Tsimpinoudakis greeted those present and welcomed Yan Zhuo Dashi in the Chinese Center and the Open Union of Social and Athletic Trainers of Changchun [Chin .: Chángchūn Jīngkāi shèhuì tǐyù zhǐdǎoyuán xiéhuì 长春经开 社会 体育 指导员 协会].
Then, he presented the structure of the teaching work of the Modern and the Traditional Chinese Martial Arts, and made a detailed presentation of the regulations and the way they operate in the Martial Arts and Culture Research Center of Changchun.
At the end of the open discussion Laoshi Tsimpinoudakis made the following statement:
I hope I will be useful today. But I hope more that I will be more useful over the next years-and after today, of course- to contribute and to help with all my strength to the great action you undertake. The Martial Arts and Culture Research Center of Changchun, where I belong, was founded in 2014 by Laoshi Wu Wen Jun and other prominent personalities from the area of culture, literature and Martial Arts of Jilin. Working with Yan Zhuo Dashi and EPOS, based on the principle of our common interests, as far as we can achieve that- of our common understanding and effort as well as possible fulfillment of common objectives in the common ground we can find. It is an initiative that I hope to be implemented more and more strongly in the future, for the proper development and spread of Chinese Martial Arts in Greece.
The meeting concluded with the opinions and the final observations of the masters involved.
