The First Evaluation Period for 2016 started in Ilia, where male and female students of the associations that are adjacent to the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization participated in the evaluation session at the Club of the Pyrgos Shaolin Cultural Center "Phoenix", on Saturday, January 23.

The evaluation committee consisted of the Members Kokkalas Lambros, Kapatsoulias Panagiotis, Altanis Theodore, Delis George, Banner Andreas, Stavrakos Marios, Stavridou Alexandra and Antari Constantina, from the Primary and Secondary Assessment Commission, led by the Director of the Athens Shaolin Cultural Center [POKESA], Master Katakalaio Dimitri - Shi Yan Kong [chin .: shì yán kōng 释 延 空]. The general supervision of the evaluation process, was held by Master Stavridis Jordan - Shi Yan Zhuo [chin .: shì yán zhuō 释 延 卓], founder and director of [EPOS].

There were many male and female students of the Amaliada and Pyrgos Shaolin Culture Centers, that participated for the first time in this Evaluation. But the work of the Ilia Masters, showed once again its seriousness and the quality of their educational work, with the excellent look and training of the Students.

I repeat, that the purpose of the Evaluation is not to give a belt, which some wrongly understand and some others take advantage. The Evaluation is a continuous dynamic process, embedded in the functionality of the Greek Shaolin Federation and its members, in order to improve the quality of the educational work of all of us. The Evaluation Session is part of the Cultural Heritage of Shaolin and for this reason is of great importance because it gives validity to the systematic study of the Shaolin Culture and elevates the level of techniques and theory of Shaolin martial arts. The process and criteria of the evaluation is based on the Greek Shaolin Gong Fu Duan Wei Evaluation System [chin .: Xīlà Shǎolín Gōngfū duànwèizhì 希腊少林武功段位制], that is created specifically by the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization [chin.: Xīlà shàolínsì wénhuà zhōngxīn 希腊少林寺文化中心].
