EPOS had a dynamic presence in the 18th National Wushu Kung Fu Championship, that was held on April 8 and April 9, 2017 at the Olympic Wrestling Center in Athens, and included National Games in all categories and ages in Wushu Kung Fu. The National Championship included events in forms and weapons, North and South Traditional Fist, Modern Wushu, Internal Styles, Tai Ji Quan and Sanda, in all categories. The Championship was held with the standards and regulations of the International Wushu Federation.

Cooperating clubs with EPOS who took part in this event and were honored with numerous medals, where Red Phoenix of Sifu Kostopoulos Ioannis, Mantis of Sifu Tsamoutalidou Stamatina and Sifu Spyropoulos Christos, WhiteLotus of Sifu Andrew Banner, Celestial Dragon of Sifu Kokkalas Lambros, the A.S.S.G.K. Snake Crane of Sifu Kostis Nikolaos, Phoenix from Pyrgos of Sifu Kapatsoulias Panagotis and Sifu Altanis Theodore, Amaliada of Sifu Stavrakos Marios, Yong Chun Chuan of Sifu Pantelias Anthonios, Wind of Sifu Efstathia Antoniou and O.A.S.K.F."Aristomachos" led by Sifu Stavridou Alexandra.

It was a great challenge for EPOS, to participate in the 18th National Wushu Kung Fu Championship. However, the presence in a National event, regardless of distinction, was necessary in order to promote the Shaolin Culture. This view is shared by the partner associations and 85 male and female students from 10 associations, who had a great presence and won the admiration of the spectators and the judges of the Federation, something that is testified by the 40 medals gained by our team. We hope to continue this positive presence and the very good work that is done for years by the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization. Said Mr Katakalaios Dimitris, General Director of POKESA.
