The New I. Rentis Indoor Gym was flooded with energy and enthusiasm as it hosted the 1st Panhellenic Martial Arts Festival of the E.O.P.T. on Sunday, June 2, 2024. This landmark event, organized by Krav Maga Protection International under the auspices of the Hellenic Martial Arts Federation [EOPT], brought together 200 athletes from various member associations from all over Greece. The event was honored with their presence by the Mayor of Nikaia - Ag. I. Renti Mr. Konstantinos Maragakis and the Deputy Mayor of Sports and Youth Mr. Giorgos Moutafidis.

The festival served as a vibrant platform for martial arts enthusiasts and spectators alike to witness the culmination of rigorous training and skill. Participants from beginner to advanced levels demonstrated their prowess in a celebration of martial arts that was as much about community and collaboration as it was about competition.

A standout presence at the festival was the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, a dedicated participant in such events for the past 15 years. The organization's mission was led by EPOS Founder Master Stavridis Iordanis and Master Katakalaios Dimitris, supported by notable masters including Stavridou Alexandra of K.S. "ARISTOMACHOS", Kokkalas Lampros of http://www.celestial-dragon.gr/">Shaolin Celestial Dragon Cultural Center, the Delis Giorgos of K.S. "WHITE HORSE", Banner Andrew of "WHITE LOTUS", and Kapatsoulias Panagiotis and Liaropoulou Theodora of K.S. Phoenix.

EPOS, a key participant, was represented by a distinguished group of students who demonstrated their dedication to the traditional arts of Shaolin. Their performances highlighted the deep cultural heritage and the disciplined training characteristic of Shaolin martial arts.

Master Stavridis Iordanis articulated the ethos of the festival, stating, “The 1st Panhellenic Martial Arts Festival was not merely a display of physical skill but a testament to the spirit of martial arts as a means of personal development and community building. The event underscored the importance of perseverance, respect, and mutual support among practitioners. As the festival concluded, it left a lasting impression on all attendees, promising an even more impressive spectacle in the years to come."
