On July 19, 2016, the EPOS mission had a scheduled meeting with Master Shi Yong Guo [chin .: shìyǒngguó 释永国 | 1962 - ] just outside Luoyang, in Yansu. Master was in his hometown for personal reasons and it was a great opportunity for Master Yan Zhuo and the members of the mission to visit him. Those who had met the Master from previous trips, were particularly pleased that they could see him again, while those who did not knew him were very anxious to meet him.

Master Shi Yong Guo, 33rd Generation Master of Shaolin Temple of Songshan, welcomed the EPOS mission and invited them to his office and offered them tea and fruit. The mood of the meeting was very warm, all the major issues were discussed, focusing on the actions of EPOS on the development of Shaolin culture and Shaolin Kung Fu in Greece. The Greek Master presented all the developments related to EPOS and he also referred to the many successes of male and female Students, and the valuable work of the Masters that create the conditions for them.

Then, the General Director of EPOS, in order to honor Master Yong Guo for his work, his contribution to Shaolin, and his support all these years, awarded him a commemorative plaque on behalf of the Board of the Center.

The two Masters, visibly satisfied with the discussion and the convergence of their views on all issues, renewed their appointment and the group took the road back.
