The whole world joins in the jubilation. The spring comes at auspicious beginning. The year of 2014 fade away while the year of 2015 is coming. On the celebration of discarding old and bringing in new, On behalf of monks in the Shaolin Temple, I wish everyone a happy holiday and a happy new year!

Review the past year ,either our great country or Shaolin Temple has good harvest.Sticking to right convictions --TO DO NO EVIL,TO DO ONLY GOOD and practicing the mission Adorn Buddha Lands and Bring Benefits To Sentient Beings, Shaolin Temple holds a series of religious rites during the past year. These activities played an important role in propagating Buddhism and bringing benefits.

Such as the Water-Land Rites of the year of 2014, the Fourth Session Medical Forum of China's Buddhism, Ask the Zen Season, the 10th Anniversary of China Songshan Shaolin Temple Day in California, USA.

The Second Shaolin Kung-Fu Training Course for African students, The Third International Shaolin Cultural Festival and so on. These activities increase our impact and enhance our reputation all over the world.

During the Shaolin Kung-Fu Examination of the third International Shaolin Culture Festival, there are 541 students of 57 teams joining in the activity, who were from Britain, Germany, Austria, Italy, Spain, Greece, Lithuania,ect. fourteen countries in Europe and Russia, Malaysia and other countries, including the 14 founder Members of the Shaolin Europe Association and new 14 membership.

Taking Shaolin Kung-Fu and other excellent dharma-mukha as the breakthrough points, Shaolin Temple aims at opening a door for the world going into the zen and Shaolin culture and sharing the idea of equality, mercy, harmony and peace. Let us jointly work hard to promote the harmony and development of human society.

In the coming new year, we will continue to do Buddhist services, obey the commandments, promote the Buddhism and go on the mission of Buddha for better cultural exchange. Under the guidance of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee, we will try our best to make contribution to realize the great Chinese dream and benefit the society. Shaolin Temple will go on paying attention to world peace, environmental protection ,education and poverty alleviation and devote ourselves to build a harmonious society together with you.

At last, everyone of Shaolin Temple monks washes hands and burns incense to make a wish. We sincerely pray for the world peace and human beings' happiness. We wish everyone has a peaceful and joyful heart, a sapiential mind and a healthy body, good luck every day !
