The 5th International & 11th National Martial Arts Festival, was organized by the Athletic Club Wu Shu Kwan, under the auspices of the Greek Martial Arts Federation [EOPT], and was completed on Sunday, March 6, 2016, at the Municipal Sports Center of Polichni, in Pavlos Melas Municipality.

This year's two-day festival was attended by clubs from all over Greece and abroad and the participation of the sporting world and other athletes was very big.

The Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization, as every year took part in the Festival and had a great presence with a group of 40 male and female students from the unions with which it cooperates. The mission was led by the EPOS General Director, Master Stavridis Jordan, [Shi Yan Zhuo] and the POKESA General Director, Master Katakalaio Dimitri [Shi Yan Kong] and was accompanied by masters, Kokkalas Lambros, Kapatsoulias Panagiotis, Kostopoulos Ioannis, Altanis Theodore, Spyropoulos Christos, Vasilopoulos Ioannis, Tsamoutalidi Stamatina, Banner Andrew, George Delis, Stavridou Alexandra, Antari Konstantina, Konstantinos Giannakopoulos, Capai Adrian, Galanopoulou Rachel, Stavrakos Marios and Kalogeropoulos Ioannis.

In the EPOS demonstration team, this time participated only male and female students who were chosen by their masters, while along with the student demonstration team, the EPOS presented also the masters demonstration team, which consisted of Stavridou Alexandra, Antari Constantina, Giannakopoulos Constantinos, Kapai Adrian, Banner Andrew and Galanopoulou Rachel.

Great impression was made by the young Shaolin Rou Quan students of master Shi Miao Yuan, from the Thessaloniki Shaolin Rou Quan Group, who presented soft fist skills, something extremely rare for young students worldwide, and by the Rou Quan group from Amaliada and Pyrgos.

These competitions are carried out with a view to acquiring experience. All of us that participate in them, nurture cooperation and sportsmanship. It is a festival for Martial Arts and for this reason, it is rightly considered as one of the largest and most successful of its kind. Said Master Katakalaios Dimitris.
