As every year, this year too, the established regular annual meeting of teaching staff of the Greek Shaolin Cultural Organization took place on Saturday, September 10, 2022, in Artemisa. The work of the meeting started with a brief reference to the work of the EPOS and the administration during the Academic year 2021-2022 by the General Director of the Greek Cultural Organization Shaolin, Mr. Stavridis Iordanis, to all the teachers present, who had the opportunity to talk in turn about the start of this year which seems to be starting once again, very dynamically.
The agenda of the meeting included the following topics:
- Goals and emphasis for the 2022-2023 school year
- Redefining the program of the Centers
- Student Code and Parental Responsibilities
- Improving learning outcomes
- Use of modern teaching approaches in teaching
- Procedural, operational and fiscal issues of associational interest
- Implementation of what the statutory regulations provide for further facilitating the work of the EPOS teaching staff
- Annual planning for participation in festivals, demonstrations & events of cultural interest
- Discussion and exchange of views on issues of good teaching.
The meeting ended with the wishes of the founder and director of EPOS, Mr. Stavridis, to everyone, who stated, among other things:
The work of EPOS Educators includes teaching, training and educating students. The planning, organization and offering of quality education that is based on modern educational concepts, is the Assurance of the Teaching Quality of the EPOS Member Centers and the certified Trainers who staff them. I wish that this year will offer substantial learning opportunities to the children of our Member Schools, Centers, for all-round development in all areas (cognitive, emotional, psychomotor) and lead them to progress and development, offering them an additional resource for the future them.
